Traditional inspired & iron entry gate in ornamental steel, features classical Arab tesselations of ten & five sided polygons as stars along a central vertical axis. The top of the gate is gently arched with pentagons. The bottom of the gate retains a more solid appearance for weight with a diminuation of the overall pattern. The finer tesselations around the central star motifs is densely arranged for the cultural idea of privacy in Islamic society. The decorative design to be waterjet cut from 1/2" steel platem, stainless steel or bronze. The work is designed and fabricated using modern computer technologies by California artist, Eileen Webb. Other related designs of arabesque flooring in stone, or doors, architectural grillwork or panels can be scaled to your project needs.
